Etihad Guest is currently offering a transfer bonus for Capital One points, providing up to a 30% bonus on transferred miles. The transfer bonus rates are tiered based on the number of miles transferred, with a 15% bonus for transfers up to 10,000 miles, a 25% bonus for transfers between 10,001 and 50,000 miles, and a 30% bonus for transfers of 50,001 miles or more. Google has introduced a best price guarantee for select flights, promising to refund the difference if the price drops. The feature was tested in 2019 and is now being launched with some restrictions. The flight must be labeled as ‘price guarantee’ to qualify, and the price must decrease by a minimum of $5.
The maximum refund is $500, and there is a limit of three price guarantee bookings at any one time. The flight must depart from the US, use a US billing address and phone number, have the country/region set to USD, and the price set to USD. It remains to be seen how many flights will have this price guarantee and whether it will only be available for flights departing in the near future.
